Relax man, I said aashan got a good deal as well. These were just 3 examples of cars that were under $45k selling here in CA, which has some of the highest prices in the country for M3's. He did say his car was listed at $48k when he first found it.

Yes, the Space Gray does have over 50k miles but it's also $39,990 asking price. The black one at Mt. View has 58k miles, and $42k. That's 6k miles more per year, which really isn't that much if you think about it. I'm sure both will negotiate with you. But if you're looking for lower milage car so it's still under factory warranty, I understand. I looked for over 6 months before I decided to buy new back in 2011.

If you haven't maybe do what aashan did, find a car you like and keep and eye on it and see if the dealership will budge. Good luck with your search.

I second that. Don't insult the seller by giving him some ridiculous lowball offer.

I am paying $44,500 for my 2011 E90 IB ZCP with all the options/packages and 43,000 miles I am picking up in a couple weeks. He was asking 47,000 and I talked him down that far and it was a hassle. I saw a 2011 E92 w/ 22k miles go for $47,000 a month ago. $47,000 is a very fair price. You may be able to talk him down a grand or so because of the no nav (not important to some, but does lower the value off the car)

Comp, tech, premium, prem sound. It has CPO until June 2016/100k miles.

Is $37,500 fair for this car? It looks to be in excellent condition and has been garage kept for at least half of those miles. The only issue is it was a dealer buyback for a software problem and then CPO'd.

Even with 57K miles, I think it's a great deal.

I'll be taking a leap of faith with the whole dealer buyback thing. But it does have CPO for another two years. I would hope if any major problems were to arise, they would show up before that time.

That does seem like a great price for a low mileage 2009. I have seen high mileage 08's list for more than that.
