Hello folks,

I have read multiple threads about the M 359 AG wheels and the more I read the more confusing it gets.

My 2011 M3 coupe is in stock condition, the color is black and I was thinking about getting the black matte M-359 from AG.

My question is:

Best fit for my car 19 or 20 inch ?

offset ? maybe 20 front and rear ? I would like the wheels to be flush with the fenders

Where I live the roads are not very good.

tires front 245 255 35 ? Rear 285 or 295 30 ?

I read that the 20 " inch wheels will cut down performance and a bent or broken wheel is almost guaranteed.. On the other hand if I get the 19's the gap between the tire and fender will look bad ?

Does anyone has a picture of a stock black M3 with 19 AG 359 ?

If roads are not good get a set of OEM wheels in GTS black and use 255/275 tires. Good to go.
The AG wheels are easier bent due to potholes than the oem ones. Stay clear of 20 inch wheels unless you just like bling, it will be a harsh ride and rough roads and a 25 sidewall do not go together

If using 255.275 you can use a 10mm spacer in the front. The rear is 5 to 10 as some people rub and some do not. Buy the 10 use it in the rear first and if it rubs move it to the front and get a set of 5 for the rear

I've had my set of OEM bent, so don't expect the OEM to be less prone to bending than AG.

Actually my AGs are holding up really well.

AG 2000 Dollars with Toyo Tires vs OEM with Pirelli tires 3500.

I think I m going to go with AG after all

Good choice with the 19's! 20's don't have enough meat on the tires so your chances of bending a wheel is more likely.

The OEM 359s and AGs are both cast wheels. They are both prone to bending. I can't speak for QC for each of them though.

My OEM Forged 220Ms have been through hell and back with no issues. Take my advise and don't cheap out when it comes to wheels. Forged if you can swing it.

BS all four of my M220 wheels were bent as fuck after 30k Kms.

There are various degrees of forged-ness I believe...

220m ain't the best forged wheel I had by far.

Went cheap and got the AG359 as a Quicl fix, loved it and still using it ever since

$4000 for set of 220s,$2000 for set of oem 359s,$1000 for set of AG 359s.
Take you pick.

I agree on the side markers, wheels look good

I am not sure if i want to lower the car, the streets here have craters, it suck big time
