Angel Eyes

Hello, I am new to this M3 forum, and I recently purchased a 2009 BMW E92 Space Grey M3. The car is beautiful, however I can't decide what brand of angel eyes to go with. If anyone has any suggestions from past experience, that would be great. Thanks, Dean

I have the Umnitza angel eyes and installed them myself. They are the same ones Luis of OSS uses.

I used to have HIDs on my e92 and preferred them much more over the LEDs as they were very bright.

HID are brighter but :
1- harder to install
2- does not last as long
3- their color looks odd. (they are either blueish or greenish )

in my opinion LED are better because they do not look aftermarket.

As a previous owner of one of his kits, I would stay far away from this option. I am currently looking for a replacement kit.

a picture does in fact say a thousand words, we never sold HID angel eyes nor do we plan to in the future.

The reason I will not use them and would tell other buyers to stay far away is due to the horrible customer service. Horrible is a generous way of putting it.

Horrible is a nice way to put it

Alpine MS still owes me money for the HID kit they sold me and which I returned. They never sent me the money. Calls, emails, etc. All ignored. A whole lot of 'I'll do it soon', no actual work.

Receiving goods back from a customer and never crediting them as agreed is just mind boggling.

I'm glad others have had similar experiences. I too have asked for a refund and only got excuses or "your car is broken" in response. I have contemplated contacting the BBB as I saved all email correspondence (with timestamps) between him and I.

Some may say don't bother, its only $250 dollars. $250 isn't a significant amount of money, I understand, but its the principle - and fundamental "business" practice.

I have LUX V4s, and would buy them again if I had to. I get compliments on how bright they are during the day. I wish they came with little hands to install them
