Need help: Looking for new bolts...

So I did a MS stud conversion and got some Blox lugs but now my tire shop is telling me they wont do any work on the wheels (changing tires, balance etc) because of the conversion. I have used this tire shop for years and years on all of my cars and trust them so I don't really want to change tire shops.

I got a nail in my rear tire and I needed them to repair so I had no choice for the time being to swap back to OEM bolts. Only problem with this is that with my Forgestar F14's, the OEM wheel lock will not fit into the lug hole cut out in the wheel. The bolt itself fits but there is not enough clearance for the wheel lock key to turn it.

Im rolling on 4/5 bolts on each wheel right now and would like to get some different bolts. What are some recommendations for different bolts?
I was looking at these and they will work, I like the blue to match my paint and calipers... http://www.uspmotorsports.com/Mevius...IDYaAtBw8P8HAQ

Thanks guys

I would go to a different shop. A shop that should be working on your car should be fully comfortable with stud kits as a regular thing.

Normally i would agree, but i dont know or really like any other tire shops in Jacksonville. I may end up having to but for the time being im wondering of any other good bolts i may use

They did remove my studs and put my bolts back in and repaired my tire all for free...

Removing the studs is more work than fixing the tire. Those guys are crazy. Have to double nut and pain especially if used loctite on install.

Do you have a second car? Remove the wheel yourself and bring it to them. That way they don't need to know if you have a stud conversion or lug bolts. The wheel doesn't need to be on the car to repair the wheel/tire.

I agree, Its not the more work thats a concern, its the fact that company policy is they cant work on a car and release it with stud conversions...

Back on topic, I would like to get suggestions on aftermarket bolts

A wheel bolt is a wheel bolt. Theyre's not much tech to them.

I'd start with OEM. If you have spacers, Turner, MS, Apex Race Parts. I mean, what are you looking for in a wheel bolt?

I get with lugs there's open ended, closed ended. Titanium, aluminum, chromoly, good 'ol crap steel. Blah blah blah.

Most people run studs and change them about yearly or oem and don't appear to change them ever.

Why Should the stud conversions be changed yearly? I get that maybe not indefinitely but yearly seems wasteful.

Depends how car is used. Track car with wheels on and off multiple times a week makes big difference. I have broken studs in less than a year before. Not wasteful if it keeps your wheels on the car.
