Hi Guys

I need some help,
I am looking for the LED module that its in to the bottom cover for the dash just where the cup holders are in the new series 4 lci.

There is an hole in the cover but no light unit .

I have attached some photos to explain

I think you only have light there if your car has Smoker pack which is an option to order .

You'll need to make a y-cable to get power to the led.
I have the led and wanted the illuminated a/c-trim, it's basically the same.
You can see how to make the wiring in this thread:

It's very easy, I made it in just a few minutes thanks to that thread.
After you put everything together it will work fine, no coding needed.

I also did this mod, by (a) purchasing a used trim piece that had the LED from a junkyard, and (b) making the cable. However, I would not recommend it for the amount of work. On my F36, the combination of other ambient light and the overhead lights (above the mirror) provide just about enough glare down into the cupholder area.

I cannot really tell much of a difference, even covering the little LED with my index finger.

Tengo un bmw F30 de 2015 en España. y estoy poniéndole unos detalles para que se vea mejor.
Le he comprado una carcasa al AC con LED pero no puedo conectarlo porque no tengo cable con el led del cup holder.
Estoy interesado en poner el Led cup holder light (no lo tengo por que es un extra de la casa de bmw) para conectar la luz de AC led light.
he visto en este foro que hay gente que compra un cable en forma de Y en aliexpres, pero en ningún sitio dice donde conectarlo y si se puede regular la luz desde el sistema.
Puedo ponerle la luz cup holder y que sea tan bueno como el original? o puedo instalarle un original? y como?

Si va al hilo que trata sobre este mod, verá que puede recibir energía de la luz del espacio para los pies en el lado del conductor. También puedes comprar cableado ya hecho en eBay o similar si no quieres hacer el tuyo propio.
