2016 340i Wiper Issue
Hey all,
I am not a BMW guy, but my coworker was recently separated from her significant other and does not have the money to fix the car he left her, a 2016 340i X-Drive. I am a DIYer and offered to take a look at this for her. The issue is the windshield wipers do not shut off, adjust in speed, or anything. The only way to get them to stop is to turn off the car or unplug the fuse. I do not see a wiper relay in any of the schematics I have looked at and from what I can tell, it is controlled by the FEM. Before spending $500+ on a FEM, can anyone confirm that there is not a relay for this? Is there anything else you would inspect before replacing a costly FEM? Thanks for your help and time on this. |

Is that the only issue? Maybe it's the wiper stalk? Sorry I don't have any information on a relay but I would be surprised if there wasn't one. I am new to this model year. I have the 2016 F33.
