335d deal ....or wait for 435d deal?
Hi,
Very close to selling my beloved E92 335d, have thought hard about being sensible and dropping down to a F30 320d....but just don't think I can do without that enormous torque! :-) So...my dilemma is, do I wait for a deal on the 435d that is similar to the 335d deals? i.e. 3.9% and big discounts. Is the 435d likely to have a similar deal q1 or 2 2014? Also, the deals that people are getting (up to 15-20%), is that off the list price of car as standard including the dealer contribution? Or do you take that off the car once you have added all your options? Thanks in advance. |

Those percentages include the dealer contributions that are listed on BMW website, and refer to the whole price once you've added the extras you want.
Hard to say whether those will be on offer for the 4 series. The 3 series has been around for over 18 months now, and not sure when this level of incentive started. |

I'm sure fi you can hold off a few months, the discounts will probably be the same as the 3 series, if not more.
I was looking to get the F32, but no longer suits due to the red dakota trim i was looking for, don't like the dash .I would also would prefer 4 doors. The GC may appeal, but doubt i would pay the presumed extra price compared to the porobable 335i that would be on the cards, with dakota red leather & mineral grey. |

Hi Davy,
To be honest I haven't fully tried yet....floated the idea past Prentice and Bavarian and they both said they could work with me.....don't think they realise what I am looking yet :-). But I will be giving all 4 of the BMW garages a chance....just want the best deal. If they can assure me same deal on 435d....then I would wait. |

Will be interesting to hear how you get on Andyers as regards the discounts, one guy on here bought from Prentice and seemed to get a decent discount.

Davy, will let you know how I get on mate....Prentice always seem a bit more open to negotiation, not sure how Bavarian operate now they are part of Sytner....but sure I will see how things pan out!
Nick....the 'man maths' finished the moment I realised I couldn't drive the 320d.....just have to manipulate the benefits now to the other half :-)! |

JKC is my local dealer although I haven't ever bought a new car from them so don't know how keen they are. Given that sales still aren't great they may be keen for a registration.
I need some test drives, the new model X5, a 335d Touring and a M135i are on the list for now. |

IrnBruKid- I agree mate....though think the big attraction is the 3.9% rate...god knows what rate it will be by then!
Davy- That's a nice garage you have there....luckily I'm only getting married next year so 'wean's' will not be for a couple of years....time for one more coupe before I have to go saloon style and buy her a yummy mummy mobile! Spec'd the 435d last night....alpine white with the red coral leather....looks well! |

The finance section on the BMW builder for the 435d is gone now....maybe they are sorting a deal? Does anyone know if you can get them to match finance terms I.e 3.9% on 335d...if you give me that on 435d I will do a deal?

Rate will possibly be a bit higher than 3.9%, for example i think the F31 are at 4.9%, new X5 are listed at 5.9% from memory so whatever rate they give it shouldn't be too far. The level of contribution/discount is more crucial and you don#t know that til you go asking.

Look at the crazy X3 APR stats at that level as the demand is there I'm the same as the OP though, want to wait for a decent 430D MSport deal.

Surely demand on 335d has been good? Haven't had a chance to phone my dealer yet but suspect he will say no deal due on 435d (to get me to buy 335d now)!
