I have worked with Tire Rack for nearly 12 years with various departments. Owning many BMW's over the years, they have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I hope my extensive knowledge of wheels, tires and BMW's will be a helpful resource to the forum. My goal is to provide our forum members the highest level of service possible. I live in Indiana. I have an older truck for deep snow.

I am getting ready to buy a 2013 M3 with the style 220 wheels. I want to put style 359 wheels on it.

My plan is to put Michelin PSS on the 359 for Summer and all season tires on the 220. My understanding is that there are no winter tires for the 19 inch 220 style.

My question is: Will that be adequate for light snows that we see in Indiana or do I need to buy a third set of wheels in 18 inch and put dedicated snow tires on them?

I have Toyo Proxes 4 Plus on my 220's and a dedicated 18" blizzaks set up for higher amounts/more severe conditions. I got through 1-3in of snow just fine in the northeast with the Toyo's

Thanks Wingzero. That is what I am concerned about. The "little" snows like that. I can take the Z71 when more is expected. I just don't want to have to rely on it all the time. My 16 yr old son will be driving the truck the rest of the time.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is a summer only, warm temperature tire. They are not designed for cold temps or any sort of ice/snow. They will be just about worthless in the winter.

At this point, there are no winter tires available in your front and rear size. Although there are a few very good all-season options. Click on these to view the options:

So Keith, what do you say? 19" RS-GTs, 8.5" or 9.5: F, 10" R...what offsets are available?

I believe the only option would be a 19x9.5 ET40 and would require 10mm spacers. BBS lists this as a "aggressive tuner" application and would require fender roll. This is what BBS lists on their guide at least. I sent a message to BBS to confirm and will let you know once I know.

I think BBS is playing it very conservative there. I've run 9.5" et19 up front with a 275mm tire lowered on KW Clubsports and had ample clearance. Thus, 19 x 9.5" et40 with a 10mm spacer (effective et30) would clear with absolutely zero issues. In fact, the only issue might be inner clearance, depending on the suspension being used (i.e., if KW, you will probably need a more aggressive spacer).

Are you able to price match other online vendors?

Hello! Sorry for the delayed response. I do not check this thread everyday.

The TRM C4 unfortunately does not come in a 18x10 at this point.

It is available in the following specs:

18x8 ET 32 or ET40
18x9 ET 30 or ET45
18x9.5 ET33
