Bought an E92 M3

Salut les gars, nouveau sur le forum, et vient de mettre la main sur ma première voiture M

Le mien est un 2008 avec 50 000 miles, version manuelle.

Le concessionnaire m'a dit que les actionneurs de l'accélérateur ont été remplacés, bien qu'il n'y ait aucune preuve de cela, mais il a un historique complet du service BMW.

Sur la base de mes premières impressions sur la voiture, j’ai l’impression que c’est un très bon exemple qui, je l’espère, me rendra heureux pour les années à venir.

La boîte de vitesses se sent bien, la 2ème vitesse est légèrement plus difficile à engager que toutes les autres, mais pas mal. Pas de pince à embrayage pour autant que je sache.

Bien que j'en ai cherché un avec l'histoire du concessionnaire BMW, je ne pense pas être enclin à utiliser le concessionnaire. J'ai entendu de mauvais rapports d'autres propriétaires BMW. Serait-il sage de le garder BMW, ou est-ce que je ferais mieux d'utiliser un spécialiste réputé?

Je pensais à autre chose. Lorsque mes miroirs s'ajustent en marche arrière, ils ne reviennent souvent pas là où ils étaient. Existe-t-il un moyen d'annuler cette fonctionnalité ?

Bienvenu. J'ai pris mon E92 M3 lundi. J'ai remarqué qu'il ne semble pas y avoir beaucoup de présence M3 britannique ici. Peut-être que tout le monde est sur Cutters?

I've noticed that as well. I bought one earlier this year. Not a member on cutters but considering it.

The advice on there seems good but there's no app as far as I can tell so this if much easier to use! Maybe if we are all more active it will attract other users...

Sorry to have ignored you!

I have changed the oil myself half way through the time frame that BMW state. I have done this for all of my BMW's because I feel that they're pushing it too much. I would at least get the car services by an independent however since I have one with full BMW service history I will continue with BMW.

With the mirrors I think it is a case of putting the switch on the mirror in question so that when you engage reverse it doesn't move down. If it does move down then you need to have it memorised in the seat and it should return to normal.

Yes hopefully it will attract more people. We can't be that rare!!

Annoying that Cutters don't have an app. I only use my phone and iPad for this sort of thing!

The gearbox feels good, 2nd gear is slightly more difficult to engage than all the others, but not bad. No clutch clip as far as I can tell.

Although I looked for one with BMW dealer history, I don't think i'm inclined to use the dealer. I've heard bad reports from other BMW owners. Would it be wise to keep it BMW, or am I better off using a reputable specialist?

Oh, just thought of something else. When my mirrors adjust whilst reversing, they often don't revert back to where they were. Is there a way of cancelling this feature?

Where are you based? My car has full BMW history but needs brake fluid and Autobahn are based near me. They're very well established and probably a lot cheaper (and know more about the cars) Tempting to avoid the dealer.
