Overfilled oil.

Ma M3 est passée du niveau Max à environ la moitié. Je suis allé chercher de l'huile chez le concessionnaire et j'ai mis 1L. Il s'avère que c'est trop remplir le niveau d'huile. Je n'ai pas conduit ma voiture très loin... peut-être 4 miles.

Devrais-je le prendre dans le concessionnaire demain et leur faire vider le trop plein? Est-ce qu'ils vont le faire gratuitement ?

Vais-je rencontrer des problèmes de garantie plus tard si je leur dis que j'ai mis de l'huile dans le moteur moi-même? Est-ce que ça va être sur mon disque ?

Pensez à la jauge numérique comme représentant une jauge, pas un réservoir. même lorsque la voiture demande un litre, mettre en deux et attendre pour réévaluer.
Combien de kilomètres avez-vous sur l'huile là-bas en ce moment? Une solution rapide serait d'échanger dans un nouveau filtre (il détient un peu d'huile) et de sucer l'huile dans le boîtier du filtre et réévaluer.

J'enlèverais autant d'huile que possible avant de conduire plus loin.

J'ai acheté la voiture utilisée il y a 3 semaines et le niveau d'huile était au max. J'ai probablement parcouru environ 1500 miles depuis et l'indicateur de niveau d'huile était à la moitié hier.

Aujourd'hui, je le mets 1L et c'est à ce moment-là que j'ai obtenu la mesure du niveau d'huile trop élevée.

Je devrais être capable de leur apporter demain et ils peuvent faire un drain rapide .5L, non?

"half" doesn't mean add a quart. it isn't "half", its within normal range. leave it alone next time.

i don't know what your dealer will do for you.

the oil filter housing holds a fair amount of oil. you could start the car, idle for a few seconds, and then shut it off - take off oil filter cap and suck out oil with a turkey baster, and repeat a few times until you get enough out. whenever I change my oil, I suck the oil out of the filter housing this way since it doesn't drain out.

easier than draining oil from the bottom, in which you can't really control how much is coming out

I second kerrit's suggestion on this, removing oil with a turkey baster from the oil filter housing is the easiest way to make an adjustment. Front and center in the engine bay, no crawling under the car, no spilling excess oil and no overpaying the dealer. Pretty much any turkey baster will do. Open the oil filter housing remove the oil filter, suction out the oil, replace the filter, close up the filter housing cap, run the engine for 30-60 seconds and repeat. You may need repeat the process up to 4 times to get 1/2 a liter out (fewer times if you drain the oil out of the filter for a while before replacing it). Can I syphon the oil out from where you put the oil in? Or is that a bad idea?

no you can't, there's no pools of oil sitting in there.
