The stock fuel system runs out of fuel delivery pressure at about 600 whp. If you want to run more than 600 whp, then you need to upgrade your fuel system.

That's the obvious. My questions were intended to extract more specific information about the kit, like what pumps does this kit contain, flow rates, max pressures, brands, etc etc etc.

4-6 bar is stock pressure. not a huge chunk of specific info here

How does the kit hold up over time? is it reliable? etc.

OK, then I'll answer your original questions which are different than the ones above:

How is this superior to the stock fuel system?

Over certain whp levels, the stock fuel system loses pressure and will eventually cause misfires, dangerously lean conditions, and eventually causes blown motors. The fact that this new fuel system doesn't lose fuel pressure on any known S65 setups, makes it superior IMO.

How does this improve performance?

It doesn't improve performance of the car, but does improve performance of the stock fuel system as described above.

What sparked the idea to create this fuel system?

Drew was running high whp, was experience fuel cutouts which were traced to losing fuel pressure under high engine output.

This is the first I'm seeing this kit, and know 2 people who could benefit from one. Wasn't intending to get your panties in a bunch or discredit the OP. Simply looking for information. I have clearly hit a nerve with you.

I can't speak for the OP because I don't know who it is and he's not the guy who designed it or sells it. No idea how he obtained the kit or why he's selling it. I do know Drew designed this for his car about six years ago and it's been discussed and featured in many related threads with similar builds. If you have two friends who need it, then they should either contact Drew directly or one of the other three or four vendors who use it. Or buy this one from the OP.
