On the other hand, my lip came well packaged, quick, with no damages. I've had mine since his first batch (since last spring), its aquired a few scrapes and bumps, and held together well. Great price for something youre bound to bash up. Now that I've learned gaging the lip on road, I think Ill invest in a better fit and finish lip when the funds open up. Its all about mind set when it comes to this lip or anything cheap for that matter.

What really grinds my gears is the way people defend the lip. It's not a great lip and the fitment is not great. Hell it's barely acceptable standing 10 feet away. Sure, it's a good beater but you're giving it way too much credit.

But sometimes I wish I would have kept my car completely stock, there's just something about a stock car that is very appealing to me. You don't have to worry about cracking your carbon lip, or telling a valet not to touch your air ride settings, or worry about replacing your expensive wheels because of Baltimore roads. I'll be looking for a 997.2 soon to keep the M company and I think I'll try to keep it stock for a long as possible. Highly recommend you don't do the East Coast mod though. It's actually the worst. Blessed to have 2 years of opening my M3 up on the roads the way it's meant to be driven. Now, it'll never be the same again...

During my most recent trip out west (northern Nevada for work), all I could think of is how sweet it would be to be humming along in the M3. Beautiful landscape and I might pass another car every five miles.
Now Atlanta on the other hand..........

I could barely ever get past a 75% throttle out West in/around Vegas without being flat out reckless. And if I did, I was well into the triple digits and had to ease up just as quick.
In the DC area, I'm lucky if I can get over 4k RPM on my ECU tuned M3.
