Depends how much you value luxury. If you like nicer interiors maybe consider f type or the ct4 black wing. Have you considered a supercharger?
I test drove it today, coming from an M3, I didn't expect this to pull so much harder be way more fun. The braking power is insane thanks to those Brembo breaks and the exhaust is just epic.

Your brain feels and senses G forces. An M3 feel just as fast as any other car that has similar power to weight and acceleration G forces.

If you get to 60 in 4 seconds, the car feels just as fast as any other car with more engine torque, but arriving to 60 in the same amount of time.

I get that you may be bored but at full throttle winding out the S65 to 8300 RPM, the forward G forces are all that you feel and perceive and the M3 will "feel" just as fast. Lower RPM's though, I can't disagree.

Maybe you just want a faster car? Or one that has more low end torque, but then again it goes against the full throttle discussion.

I second a supercharger, as it would be way faster than the cars we are talking about.

I don't know what it is man, the HP power is very similar but then again, the Mustang Mach 1 has 420lbs/ft of torque I guess that's why I felt it much faster from 0 to 100 which to me gives me the most pleasure and fun. Then comes the exhaust, the stock valved exhaust on the Mach 1 was louder and more viceral than the Akrapovic I have which added to the experience.

Other than that, I think part of me wants a newer car, new tech, Android Auto, you know what I mean.
OP, the Mach 1 is faster. The Mustang traps 117 and the M3 is about 111, this is a significant difference. The M3 is a much nicer place to be, but will not give the visceral experience of the mustang.

I have had 6 camaro's and several M3's. I kept going back and forth because I loved the american muscle, but really did not like to be in them just driving around.

I sold my 2018 SS1LE for a ESS 625 M3. I never should have sold it! It did not have the bottom end grunt of the camaro, however it was pissed off from 4500 to redline. My set up would trap about 120, so the thrill was definitely there.

Did i mention i should never have sold her???

If your car has all the maintenance done, a good SC kit might rekindle your love...
The lack of torque is precisely why I dropped my E90 M3 of 4 years for a tuned F80.

Always felt the engine noise didn't match the feeling of acceleration. Love the E90, but it really needs triple digit speeds to come into its own and in middle America, those opportunities are fleeting.
Mustang & Camaro engines feel good when driving aggressively or on a track but routine daily driving after a while these don't feel special like the S65 V8 from the E9x M3 - this engine does not feel as visceral but very refined and always special.

So I finally got the Mach 1. You could feel the extra torque immediately this thing is wild and handles even better than my M3. It gives you a lot of confidence while taking turns at high speeds where as with the M3 I was a bit more careful. Still in the breakin period so I can't push her hard but I am loving it and that exhaust is just eargasmic be it at low or high RPMs. With my M3 which had an Akrapovic exhaust, you could only really hear the exhaust at higher RPMs.
