A propos d'Eisenmann Allemagne- http://www.bmwblog.com/2008/12/19/ind-distribution-visiting-eisenmann-facility/

SPORT-Version:

Véhicule en mouvement 75 db
véhicule à l'arrêt 92 db à 6,225 1/min
valeur de la contre-pression -25%
poids du silencieux apr. 21 kg

RACE-Version:

Véhicule en mouvement apr. 95 db
véhicule stationnaire apr. 102 db à 6,225 1/min
valeur de la contrepression apr. -32%
poids du silencieux apr. 21 kg

S'il vous plaît noter que ces valeurs sont toujours en fonction de circonstances externes comme feg. pression barométrique, température extérieure, abrasion des pré-silencieux, abrasion du chat-convertisseur, etc...

+1 on Eisenmann...have the race and wouldn't get ride of it. Some people might think it is too loud but hell my wife and I ride harley's...LOUD!!!!
+1 on the Sport, if you want a better, more authoritative tone without being too loud for daily use. It is a little spendy, and have up until recently required you to cut the strock rear pipes off your OEM muffler, but I think that is changing. I think the unit is perfect for my needs, though.

Hey Greg,

Can you elaborate? Have they changed the design so that it becomes a direct bolt-on?
I went with RDsport exhaust plus x-pipe. it's a more throating growling sound which i like better than the high pitch whining sound of the eisennman. I have the eisennman race on my 07 M5.
for the eisenman race.... is that just a bolt on?

Eisenmann's connecting pipes will be released this January so no more cutting
I have a question about db. Is there a maximum you can have on your car, and still be it street legal? I mean, is 95 db street legal?

In the US I believe any noise regulations are state imposed, not federal.
Eisenmann Sport is a great choice, we've got one in stock for an E90 if you have a sedan. Also check out the Active Autowerke Signature Series Exhaust.

RD makes a nice exhaust let me know if you need a price quote on it. Just recently got those.

There are supersprint sport muffler which will run $1985
and or the supersprint quad muffler is $2498
Eisenman Race (run you about $2700 for the mufflers):
ActiveAutowerke Exhaust will run you about $2650 for the exhaust :
All of them are some great options, we'll be happy to help you out. Let us know we carry quite a bit of exhausts brands as you can see!
that supersprint driveby is :cool!:

sounds great!
What's everyone think about the UUC Corsa exhaust? I'm between the Remus Race or the Corsa. Any suggestions?
I have the Remus Sports...just the right balance without sounding like a prat in the city...

Interesting. The youtube video's of the Remus Race/sport sound good but never do it justice as if in person. I do want something sporty and benefit from a little bit more power but I don't want it to be stupid loud. then again, I'm not interested in something that is only a few db's louder than stock. It's hardly worth it then. Thanks for the input.
