Est-il plus difficile de commander des peintures ou des garnitures BMW Individual aux États-Unis qu’en Europe ?

Y a-t-il des limites?

Toutes les options BMW Individual disponibles sur les marchés européens sont à la disposition des clients nord-américains. La commande est disponible chez tous les concessionnaires BMW. Il y a un formulaire de commande que les concessionnaires peuvent créer pour les clients intéressés par le travail individuel. Les concessionnaires font valoir que le formulaire de commande à l'ancienne (par fax) ou ils peuvent numériser et envoyer par courrier électronique au département des ventes automobiles de BMWNA où il ya un contact qui reçoit des demandes individuelles et commandes spéciales toute la journée. Ce contact a un pont directement vers l'Allemagne et elle saura combien de temps il faudra pour faire tout ce que le client demande, et elle répondra au concessionnaire avec le calendrier et le prix. Si le client est satisfait de la réponse, il peut alors aller de l'avant et commander la voiture. L'individu est le plus populaire sur la série 7 et la M3 et gagne en popularité.

Assurez-vous simplement que votre revendeur connaît le bon de commande spécial. S'ils ne l'ont pas ou ne le savent pas, il est disponible via un e-mail rapide au département des ventes automobiles de BMWNA, avec lequel chaque concessionnaire sait comment entrer en contact.

La seule limite est ce que l'usine peut réellement faire. Par exemple, Leipzig n'est pas encore en mesure de faire des commandes individuelles, mais cela peut changer un jour à l'avenir (donc les modèles produits là-bas, comme le coupé 1M ne peuvent pas être commandés actuellement avec des couleurs ou des options individuelles).

Is there a difference between "Individual" colours, and "custom" colours? I believe the Individual colours are a fairly limited number of colours from which you can choose, if you live in an area that can avail of them??

Just my OCD tendencies coming out... pedantics, for sure, but is there a distinction? For example - Laguna Seca and Dakar Yellow - are they truly "Individual" colours, or simply colours that were custom ordered?

On the inside of the engine bay, check the tag that names the color. If it says "BMW- Individual" I think it counts!

Every color that's not a standard color for a specific series is considered being an Individual color. The reason behind is that the Individual GmbH is responsible for that business. Though there are different types of Individual colors: Some are "standard" colors offered from Individual (like Azurite Black or Moonstone), some are colors that are available because they were used in a former series (like Dakar Yellow) which are more expensive and, lastly, some are real custom colors (most expensive).

So, even strictly speaking, all of these are Individual colors.

I don't think thats Aegean blue - it looks like Avus. Aegean is more green.

I've got a 2009 M3 coupe in Titanium Silver. If someone could take a descent picture of it for me perhaps next to a Silverstone II, i'd appreciate it. I'll be in San Clemente starting July 2nd.

P.S. It says BMW Individual under the hood , but BMW considers it a "special order paint"
