Another happy customer here! Been driving around with my backup camera for a few days now.

Can't beat Kris's customer support! He's very responsive to emails and helped troubleshoot my installation.

I did end up needing to use a relay on the reverse light wire to get the unit to switch on with the engine running. I have a 6MT on a '09 E90. Once that was resolved, everything works perfectly.

If you connect a video source like, say a DVD player or maybe even an iPhone, what does the picture on the factory screen look like? Is it stretched? What's the mechanism used to activate the RCA video input?

All you need to do is press an hold iDrive "MENU" button for couple seconds to turn on the AV input.
