Nicely done shamoo,

I know what it feels like having been stranded in a small US town last year on my vacation trip and local people helped out. I even communicated with my BMW dealer at home and they replied at once while I waited in a hotel room for a replacement wheel. It is nice when people help a guy in need.

To the fellow calling this cry for help a troll, I hope he is not stranded any time soon, if he is he should remember his negativity.

Cheers,

Rolf-Dieter
Thanks guys. :D Feels good to help out. [insert feelsgoodman.jpg]

I wasn't about to take John's money last night. Those 19" OEM tires are expensive man! Save your money for replacing that busted tire!

And BTW, like I mentioned last night you don't have to drive all the way back here today to drop the wheels off. They're my winters and I won't need them until like December. Next time you're in the area, drop by. Otherwise you don't need to be driving 70+ miles one way to drop off some wheels that are just going in my attic. :D
good stuff!

What a nice guy... Ever thought of moving to Toronto? :)
Good man, shamoo. I was stranded on the 405 a few years ago with a dead battery and two flats (talk about a comedy of errors) for hours late into the evening. No sign of the tow, and no less than five CHP cars passed me up until a cruiser finally stopped to assist. I feel the OP's pain.

Very cool bro! Nice to know there are good people out there. Big props!!
I'm glad it worked out. Mr. "Troll" was the exception, and at post #2 he sure tagged himself.
