SSII

biased answer of course ;)
silverstone ftw. it doesnt look fem at all. actually, i think ssii brings out the lines the best on the m3.

i wouldnt want to pay such a huge premium on a color that was a standard metallic color. and if i were going to pay such a huge premium, id get atlantis metallic or a special green color (cause i like green)
Dont make me post pics of my silverstone M3.. lol

Its not feminine IMO. Its different (in a good way)

If you're going to special order, go all out with Dakar II, Hellrot, Technoviolet, Estoril, etc. (though there are many more unique and subtle colors such as moonstone which you should also consider)

Of the factory colors, I'd pick SSII myself. MW close second. Would be tied between SG and SSII if SG was offered from the factory, but since it isn't, choice has been made.
I LOVE SPARKLING GRAPHITE (biased), but if I was in your position to order a special color, I'd go for the color that was never in production. Monte Carlo Blue maybe?
SSII FTW
they don't make graphite anymore. I have SGM and love it.

both are gorgeous..sorry i know no help

I would say go moonstone if you are between those colors and wanting to special order..

But i would get Fire orange ;)

I think your car is asking for some blacklines :)
What does your personality tell you to get ? I liked that fact that SSII is an ///M Color, you will never see it on a 335 on a regular day. Lines show beautifully on SSII.

The color shades of SSII are not everyone's favorite. But you gotta go with what your gut tells you :). I simply love my SSII and i would order it again and again...plus, you dont need to worry about swirls and minor scratches on such a color, they are not always visible.
SSII With black and carbon FTW!
SSII with Bamboo and Carbon for even more win!;)

SSII and Fox Red with aluminum for a deadly combo. Ask me how i know ;)
Ironically, SparkG was regularly derided as being too feminie as well, due to the slight "girly purple" undertones.
SSII for sure.
SSII on an E93 would be amazing, showing off a FR extended with the top down.
I had a Sparkling Graphite E90 for about 6 months. Awesome color. But after you have it for about 6 months, it became boring for me because it is so dark. The next E90 M3 I had was an SSII. The color is great but the green hue under the sunlight bothered me. I finally ended up with a Space Gray E90 with Fox interior. I love the color combo with no regrets.

If you are going to pay extra $$ for a color, I would suggest choosing something more unique and something that will excite you beyond 6 months. Maybe look at some of the interesting silver/gray metallic colors. There are some blues that are amazing if you match them up with a cool interior color. If you want to spend $$ on colors, I think there are a lot better options.

Good luck on your decision.
OK, I have a different opinion than most. I test drove a SSII E92. I wanted to love the color based on the opinions here but all I could see is baby blue. In the end I decided I would never be happy with SSII and ordered MR instead.

The weather conditions were probably the worst it could be to see bably blue and not silver. Overcast, slight rain at sunset.

My wife loved the color. Feminine or not, you have to see it in person to decide.
