Sympa ! BMW a également simplifié mon processus de rachat!
good for you, glad it all worked out.
Glad to hear. Enjoy the "new" toy.
BMW bought back my 335i 2 months before my lease expired because of the damn HPFP problem. They even gave me back 2 years of payments minus mileage. So, when I picked up my new M3 they also cut me a check for 15k! Thank you BMWNA service!

Glad to hear you were treated well. Good for you!

I was not that lucky with a BMW Dealership in Idaho Falls last year ... I was lied to and they screwed me good.

Guess there are Good and Bad BMW Dealerships ... just like Good cop and Bad Cop :)

I don't want to talk about it anymore ... Details are here in this Dealership Review Thread ---> in case you like to read about it click here and scroll down to post #26
sweet, thanks for staying with the brand
You aren't the first to get their car bought back from BMW because of this main bearings issue. I hope my car doesn't follow this fate. Hope you have good luck with this one.

What have been the symptoms of the main bearing failure? Can you describe them?

Was it a ticking kind of noise? or a rubbing kind of noise? How would you describe it?

When you refer to "Main Bearing" was it one of the Main Crankshaft Bearings, or Rod Bearing?
