mswaz, this is the moonstone E90 that GOLFFRR is talking about, took a picture of it when we picked up our E90. I'll mirror everyone else's comments that this color is better appreciated in person than in photos and changes quite a lot depending on the lighting.

Unfortunately my photo was taken early in the day so your not seeing the cool iridescent nature as you would in the sun...

p.s. Driving a BMW Individual car is pretty damn fun ;)
I saw the E90 at Steve Thomas this past Friday and I definitely liked it. The pic above does it no justice, as do any of the pics that I've seen. That was one of my problems, since I couldn't see one in person prior to ordering my car. I went with AW instead, but having seen a Moonstone E90 in person finally, I think I would have been very happy had I ordered it. It's a very classy color.

Last I read they will still be in production till at least June so you have a fair while to sort out what you want.
Sedans are finished with production so whats out there is all there is.
I almost sprang for moonstone when I ordered my car. I got jerez black and i like it but it is hard to keep clean. I think the moonstone is a cool color, changes according to light like jerez but would be much easier to keep looking good. I would say go for it as the sedan and naturally aspirated engines are dying breads.

What are the interior colors?

Looks like it is black with carbon fiber. No roof though and that is a must for me or I might try to get this one. I love the aspect of it being one of only a few out there. Also not sure on the DCT, Really want a manual but only two left in the country so might need to go DCT in order to get something close to what I want option wise.
Definitely give Ryan a call on that Moonstone posted above. I'm sure he'll make it worthwhile for you. And what would beat a drive up the coast to WA from CA? By the time you get home, you're ready for the 1200 mi service and total enjoyment.

Duh, reading is fundamental... My brain is fixated on coupes so I went right by the E90 thing. My bad, he does need to move quickly.

Yeah I'd think I'd try and make it work but no sunroof. Strange order spec if you ask me. I'll think about the idea of no roof, I hated it in my 1M and got spoiled with the panorama in my X5M. Love to have that individual color though and the drive home would be epic plus friends in Thousand Oaks and San Ramon.

My last car was a convertible, and I thought it would be difficult to manage having a car with no sunroof when I bought my M -- I don't miss it for a second.

Pick this up now. It's probably one of the last Individual E90 M3s out there.
I think Moonstone is an awesome color but I couldn't justify the cost. I was also worried about repairs and color matching. I typically do not keep cars more than 3-4 years and didn't want to take a hit on resale. Also, what happens if the car is damaged and has to be repainted?

Then again, it is an awesome and rare color. If it was on the lot and I had the opportunity I just might not have been able to say no.

i personally cannot justify the cost for any Indiv. color including Fire Orange, which I absolute love.
Moonstone is awesome. Will look amazing with the M Perf Splitters/spoiler too.
It's just a payment, just do it!
Do not let the DCT trans worry you, it's amazing....and I'm a Manual guy.
What are the other specs on the car? Indv interior?
If I wanted to get an individual color, it wouldn't be Moonstone as I'm having trouble distinguishing it from Titanium Silver (guess I need to see the two side by side).

It's not a payment it's cash but $5K. $500 is bad enought for metallic paint but come on $5K.

No individual interior as it looks to be black with carbon leather trim.
Most other options except sunroof which is really my only point of contention beside the $5K...
