I believe Ilya has either the stock throttle mapping or Sharper. Definitely not Aggressive. Very few have requested 'aggressive' and I prefer to modify throttle response as little as possible. That way you get full range of throttle position with your foot. I've always found Sport Plus to be overly aggressive from the factory.
I too find Sport + to be too aggressive and I find Sport to be a little too twitchy. I selected "Sharper" for both on the form but now I'm second guessing that. Ilya's description sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.

If you're not happy with it, I'll send you another file based on your input.

I think you'll enjoy the slightly sharper response. It's modified by less than 3%.
Any chance you're coming to the Northeast anytime soon?

Was there about 6 months ago. No defined plans yet but I'm there from time to time. Probably will be there next in 2014.
hey mike was gonna pm you these questions but figured id post them in case anyone else was curious

like i might eventually get a ess supercharger kit, and would your cable set up work with the tunning needs of the kit or would i have to purchase a ess cable....errr i think one comes with the kit but u save some bucks if u already have one

and the other question was if i got in this group buy for a stage 1, how much more for some coding also?

thx in advance mike

I'll agree with that. It tends to facilitate a pilot induced oscillation, PIO, sometimes causing a cyclical lurching in 1st when trying to modulate speed instead of just accelerating like a mad dog.
Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in replies. I am packing up for my trip and leaving tomorrow morning. Have about 40 unanswered PM's and tons of emails. I am going to try and answer emails while on the plane. I have a full schedule tomorrow until about 9PM. At that point I will have internet at the hotel and will reply to PM's. Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! Also tuned bmobile's E93 M3 about a half hour ago. Maybe he'll have some time to chime in after the long drive home!

I appreciate everyone patience in getting back to you. Just wanted to jump in here quickly before I left.

If I already have coding done, will your tune erase that or overwrite it?

Thanks!

Hey Mike,

Just saw your GP, great product! But for us local LA guys that you already tuned in person over the last couple of months, how do we go about getting the laptop cable?

Only reason I am asking is if at some later time I decide to sell the car it would be helpful to be able to return it to stock in case you are not around i.e., jetting around the country enjoying your status as "the" premier E9X M3 tuner in the world :D

Im with Top Gear, Mike what would you charge your local previously tuned customers for a bpm cable.

Please let us know what stage.

For those of you signed up, please shoot over the documents and info.

Thank you!

Unfortunately this isn't something I do remotely. Because the DCT module is located inside the transmission itself, I would only use my factory tools for the update versus the coding cable. The tuning cable only supports engine software so far.
I'm not sure if we both mean the same.
Got a six speed MT and I'm looking for the functionality that the car revs up by itself when you press the clutch and the brake pedal at higher rpms/speed so that you don't have to heel&toe.
The e92 M3 GT4 racecar has it from factory.

I can chime and and confirm that I have the "sharper" throttle maps and not the stock ones. I feel that it makes the normal mode perfect in every day and spirited driving. It's right in between normal and sport on a stock M3.

The GT4 does not do this. Checkcaptain said that it did but later admitted that he was joking.

Mike,

Add me to the list for Stage I - I'll plan on the Stage II upgrade next month. You have a PM and a check on the way.

Thanks,
Jay
I could not find one before and after dyno on this very popular tune. Mike, do you have the dyno results for a stock car before and after dyno pulls to post?

Can someone please post a before and after dyno charts. I am (and I am sure many are) tired of all the butt dyno reviews.

Allot of people seem to think that this is a great tune and I want to know how great.
Mike, would like to do Stage II and add coding as well - can you do a discount for both?
All in.
Thanks
Ryun

Hey Mike - thanks for replying to my PM earlier. Can you please PM me a price for a Stage I tune and the coding features?

Thanks
+1 on the dyno results before & after. Just picked up an 09 & Dyno Comp uses EVOtech tune & fine tunes on the dyno. They have charts to show before & after. Unfortunately they cost quit a bit more.
