Il faisait beau ce soir à Seattle. J'espère qu'il tiendra jusqu'à demain. Rendez-vous au PR demain matin.

yep

w00tw00t wroteits so easy to do. i ususally get in trouble for early passes particulaly at 2-3, 3-4.yeah I got an earful about these later that day..
Good day yesterday! I'll have some photos up later tonight. The last two sessions I really pushed my brakes hard to see what the limits were with just the Stoptech pads and they actually tolerated it. I had to dig deep in the pedal out of turn 1, but what I thought was fade was really loss of traction. My limits definitely came from understeer and just general loss of traction all around with my PSS tires. They certainly weren't bad at all, but I'm going to need to get some better rubber.

They're not the most glamorous because they're just at T9 when we're all swaying left but whatever. Feel free to use them if you want. Bigger files available here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/judsonhall/sets/72157626212423623/

^^This guy is named Santo. I ran with him 2 weeks ago at the Ridge too and he's not online here but he's a really nice guy.

PrimeBMW wrotethanks... they only removed them for one session when all the advanced drivers complained but were back again later that day...144 mph GPS indicated on the straight! good job.......and good time. But wait, they removed the cone!
to be honest.. for those cones alone I think I am not going to do another proformance day... unless I get really desperate for a track day.
Later that day I ran out of track at T8 trying to avoid the blasted cone! luckily I slowed enough to not cause any issues.
I ran my fastest times without those dumb cones...

thanks again!
nice work btw.
Yeah the cones were really bad to begin with and then when they got hit they were worse. A lot of people had close calls because of them. The next day on my radar is June 29th at the Ridge with Turn2. Hopefully I will have track wheels/tires and camber plates by that time so I can say bye bye to a lot of that understeer. I think a BBK will have to wait for next year.
What is the likelihood of paint chips at track days? Beginning to regret not getting a clear bra.

... yes you'll get a few paint chips...
w00tw00t wroteyes or quite a bit more.that's a duh question to be honest... yes you'll get a few paint chips...
The bigger issue I'm noticing is rubber streaks. Those things are a real pain to buff out on a white car and I got a ton last time out. I might tape up next time.
Transfer wrotenot worth it unless you are only doing few days a year. just have to embrace the look. The bigger issue I'm noticing is rubber streaks. Those things are a real pain to buff out on a white car and I got a ton last time out. I might tape up next time.
Transfer wroteTaping is a real PITA. I still got those nasty rubber streaks behind the wheels and they don't come out short of a buffer. The bigger issue I'm noticing is rubber streaks. Those things are a real pain to buff out on a white car and I got a ton last time out. I might tape up next time.
Mothers R6 will take the rubber marks off.
