Not sure where you heard that. There are a ton of people on this site alone that have rentals. It even says at the very end of the recall letter that alternate transportation will be provided if needed. They initially told me it would be a 528i, then they (Enterprise) gave me a 2016 X5 instead. I have had it for over two months and 2500 miles. I suggest calling your local dealership Service Manager and see what they say if you are interested in a rental. There is also a huge thread in the "General" forum that details everyone else's experience getting rentals.

saw a space gray e92 today on Hancock street in Dorchester. Tail lights looked smoked...I was in my new '11 JB e90 ZCP.

E92 with Comp wheels on Main street in Lynnfield this afternoon. Looked dark blue but must have been black. Super clean looking!

Nice. Got a pic? Someone keeping their zcp wheels on through the winter. I had to take mine off . I'm thinking of buying a second pair of those wheels for the winter time. I hate putting on the 270 M wheels.

I use my ZCP for winter. My Volks are for summer
