(E92 / E93) Official Melbourne Red M3 Coupe / Cabrio Thread

Je veux le voir en personne avant de prendre une décision, mais je n'aime généralement pas les peintures métalliques. Je pense qu'un rouge plus brillant sera meilleur avec le panneau de toit des FC. Melbourne me semble boueuse quand il n'y a pas beaucoup de lumière du soleil. J'espère que ce n'est pas le cas dans la vraie vie.

Eh bien, je l'ai vu en réalité sur une journée ensoleillée à Munich au m-gmbh et je dois dire qu'il avait l'air parfait !!.....une course vraiment rouge vif. vous ne reconnaissez pas qu'il est métallique... par temps nuageux ou dans un environnement plus sombre, il change mais cela le rend intéressant.
J'avais initialement prévu d'obtenir le gris de l'espace car j'ai vraiment aimé le concept à genève avec une ombre chromée et je pensais que ce serait proche mais en réalité cela semble assez ennuyeux.

Pour moi, les couleurs sont aw ou mr.....un vert/orange/bleu ciel aurait été bien sûr...

comme mon z4m actuel est aw je veux une couleur différente maintenant.

mon melbourne rouge 19" avec des sièges en tissu sera livré fin de nov.

i initially planned to get space grey as i really loved the concept in geneva with chrome shadow and thought it will be close but in reality it looks pretty boring.

to me the colours to go are aw or mr.....a green/orange/skyblue would have been nice of course...

as my current z4m is aw i want a different colour now..

to be honest i did not find time the last weeks to make pictures..there had been a lot new pics of mr in this forum so i thought everybody should be happy now... but anyway..here are some pics from my car shot at the ring ...
car is very nice, driving more easy than z4m, engine more punch and great sound 3-3,5k rev and 7800-8400...but still not quite that direct on throttle response like the old flat 6....

overall i just had the first miles on summer tyres ps2..car feels good and is very fast on the ring... will test the cup+ tyres when it gets warmer..

i have the drivers package that officially allows 280 km/h... the car does 310 km/h on the speedo...stops at about 7800 revs...

think everyone of you will like it whenever you have it!

drivers package was 2450 euros...this includes a free training with bmw m3 (aufbautraining) worth 950 euros

but the car is still limited...withought it can do around 10 km/h more

Very nice & thx for the pics! Seeing your pics makes my decision even harder. It's like torn between 2 lovers! My brain says get SSII (w/Fox red leather & carbon leather trim) since it shows off the lines better & resale value will probably be higher but my heart says get MR (w/black leather & brushed aluminum trim) since I've never had a red car & not that many M3 owners will have this color. Decisions, decisions...

Now that you've had it for awhile, are you glad you got MR or does a part of you regret getting this color? When the sun hits it, is it true there's a slight hint/shimmer of metallic orange in it from different angles? Thx so much!

well i still love the colour and there are very few cars out there in red. in the bright sunlight the metallic effect is not there...you see a bright red...only
in dusk or dawn you can see the metallic effect with a tint of orange and/or red-brown

i had a black m3e46 then a white z4mqp now i wanted sth different..

in my opinion, the red is very very good, but still not perfect, silver looks a bit boring, and white you see everywhere...the colour decision is not easy. still i am very happy with my choice!!
