Does anyone else get drunk and watch cops?

Cops has always been one of my favorite shows. But the old episodes from the 90's/early 00's are much better because they showed a lot more "reality" compared to today's versions which are all sanitized.

Live PD isn't going anywhere. I think just cops was canceled.

Live PD was cancelled at the beginning of June.

I only know this because a few people I work with watched it religiously.

Anyone mention Upload (Prime Video)?

Just watched season 1 last night. I really like this one, the humor is approaching the Idocracy standard. The business mashups are fantastic. And the story is pretty good to. It really isn't often a show gives me a genuine good laff at stupid society trends.

Almost finished Brave New World (after giving up on Cursed).

Not perfect, but also not bad, kind of a mix of Gattaca/Idiocracy/Caligula.

I'm about 5 episodes into Cursed, pretty trash. But feel like I need to finish it at this point.

Umbrella Academy S2 was good.

But i hate the massive cliffhangers every season. I wish I had watched S1 to catch up instead of just relying on the recap bc i feel like i missed the impact of some things in s2.

"The Great" is a great watch. And it seems historically accurate so far (4 episodes).

Yes it is! I had no idea he is an actual comedian/rapper in real life who has released an album.

That first scene in the studio when he goes off, my girlfriend and I looked at each other like, "He's not just an actor." Looked him up and found all that out.

Season 2 was confirmed for sometime next spring but who knows how far COVID has set that back.

Hannibal on Netflix.

I now constantly crave prosciutto.

Excited for Raised By Wolves that's coming on HBO next month, trailer looked great and there are some big names behind the production.

Will be giving Yellowstone(Kevin Costner) a try this week.

Is it just me or is Money Heist really overrated? Lot of the actors are just overacting and the inspector in charge and the master thief are busy having sex rather than sticking to their job/plan. The Professor is so careless at times and so are a lot of robbers inside the Royal Mint. It just doesn't make sense. I'm just watching to see how it's going to end.

"Cable": Baskets (nothing else on right now, but also like Fargo and The Americans)
HBO / SHO: nothing great in season right now
Netflix: Haven't had a chance to watch season 2 of Disjointed but probably will watch it. Waiting for season 2 of Ozark.

Most shows that I think start off ok, I end up losing interest in except some on "Cable" stations and HBO / SHO.

Even season 3 of Ozark is already out. It was pretty good!

Umbrella Academy

The Last Narc on Amazon. Very disturbing but worth watching. Only 4 episodes.

I see it's about Kiki Camarena, I'll have to give it a try. Narcos Mexico on Netflix also had one entire season about him, it was really good!

We finished "Little fires everywhere", cool stuff.
Absentia Season 3 and Lucifer Season 5 next.

OMG....Cobra kai is good!

ALso, still enjoying The Great, while waiting for season 2 of The Boys.

Back on topic. we just started 'Halt and Catch Fire.' My wife is entirely non-geek and even she loves it. Except for my constant explanations...

I've been watching Brooklyn 99 on my lunch breaks lately. Love that show
