Maintenance recommendations

Are there any recommendations you guys have for things to change after a certain number of miles, such as fluids, tires, bearings, etc, or will following the iDrive messages be enough for those things?

And how about things that a normal car would need or doesn't have?

i would say the most important thing is to change the oil every 5k-7.5k miles.the factory system will tell you to change it about every 15k miles,which almost everyone on here feels is way too long.
