With the NHL season about to start, who's everyone's team?? I'm a diehard LA Kings fan...hoping to see a strong season and deep playoff run from them :party0030:
Hockey family from the UK here! I nearly started an NHL thread last year as there was plenty of chat about the NFL but nowt about hockey!

We follow the penguins and New York Rangers. My eldest plays u20's for Guildford (my wife and I are the managers) and my 4yr old is already skating backwards and wants to start training with the u10's in the next few months.

Sadly hockey is far from being a main stream sport in the UK but it has a good following and we're not too shabby ;)

We came home with silver from the AAU inline hockey tournament in Vagas last year!!!

I'm looking forward to watching the NHL games this season and someday hope to bring my boys over the pond to see a real NHL game! :D

I was able to go to 2 games in the Stanley Cup finals a few years ago for the Kings vs Rangers

Pittsburgh and New York should be good this year....hopefully you can make it out to see them play soon
This was the longest off-season ever for SJ SHARKS fans... With new coach, new goalie and half the team shuffled around, I'm curious to see how the guys come together this year...

On a different note, check
out:
Looking forward to yet another re-build!😡

I really thought the Leafs were gonna turn the corner when they picked up Bernier, and had some decent draft picks.

Leafs used to be my 2nd fav team back in the day...I used to wear #93 cause of Dougie Gilmour! Haha
Leafs...I hope to see a cup in this city before I die.

I've met him a couple times by chance at a restaurant we both go to. Pure class act!

Better to watch a Leafs game in Buffalo. Cheaper tickets, better atmosphere than the ACC where the suits take up all the good seats and leave after the 1st period.

If you make it to Chicago, let me know. We'll meet up for a beer and you can take your wife to a game on my dollar.

I never watched hockey until I moved to Chicago - what a GREAT sports town! I miss the food and sports the most.

Big hockey fan..but it has gotten hard here watching the sharks choke every year. Just envy what the kings and ducks have done...we're the last Cali team needing a cup.

I have Sharks/Hawks tickets for sale, if you are a fan. Usually don't let opposing fans sit in the seats, but I can make an exception.

I was fortunate enough to travel to London while I was living in Europe and the people there were amazing when I went to see an Arsenal/Man U match. Figured I would pay it back.
Played it growing up. Can't stand it now...

Really??? Most people are hockey fans for life.

Where'd you play at?
