I do still enjoy this car from time to time, when I can stand to listen to all the rattling.

Yeah, i hear you. It is becoming a shit show over there. Nothing but hatred and 45 degree wheels. I still have the WRX as well, but RARELY post over there anymore.

I never posted there much other than the photography thread. It was a good source of info though. I still occasionally go for our Subbie. On our 3rd Forester.

I had a canvas wall print made of that shot for my shop and I think I went with an edit that was much more subtle and dark, so I actually have to agree lol

Another thing that will also help with your photos that a lot of automotive guys use is a CPL filter. Will get rid of a lot of the glares/reflections on the car.

I honestly find many befores better than the afters.

A popular one.

This one is pretty popular as well. I have always been fascinated by bright moonlight because everything seems to be high-noon, just with a weird look to it, so that's what I decided to do with this one.

Guess I'll throw up this AFTER picture that people seemed to like.



This photo is heavily photoshopped. First of all, this was a day shot and I've cropped it significantly. I took the background of a photo I took of downtown LA and composited it into this shot. It was actually raining when I took this shot, but a lot of the drops disappeared when I replaced the background, so I added them back in. I let the light spill into the car a bit to sell the composite, and I added a haze for atmosphere. I'll post the original tonight when I get home.

It's funny you should mention that, all my high-end photographer friends make fun of me because the very first thing I bitch about, when they ask for CC, is that god damn front plate.

I've never seen a front plate make any car look anything but worse, regardless of the shape, size, or what it says. My state requires a front plate, but they can all kiss my ass, no way I'd run such a thing.
