Please keep us updated jhanksevo!

I've ran a bottle of techron and gone back to the Chevron I usually filled up at (went to Costco the last couple times) to see if it changes anything. No signs of it happening but its only been a couple days so far.
My car has recently started having hiccups as well while at a stop, had not died on me yet, but after reading through this thread I might have to dive into the fuel purge valve job.
I'll be doing it this week hopefully part came in pretty fast from ecs
Fellas so I did it and after an hour of driving I have had no issues. the DIY was spot on but as others suggested its best to remove the bracket from the breather valve the fuel line is a pita. Also I used a regular hose clamp 6mm to 11mm to secure the line.
Thanks for the update jhanksevo!

How long did it take you to do everything and did you find any particular step especially difficult?
it took about 3 and half hours total. I was working 12 hr shifts so I dedicate a little over an hou over the course of 3 days. the most difficult thing is reaching the back hose clam on the passenger side when putting back on the cover. If you can do an oil change and have basic mechanic skills you can tackle this
FYI, BMW extended the coverage for this issue to 120k miles. My car is literally at the dealer right now getting it done. Why the hell are you guys doing it yourselves?
Seriously MShift?

I don't think I've ever saw a bulletin for this...did you just go in and tell them your car was stalling out while idling?
Shift, I called my dealer and mine wasn't covered. Jinx just call and see

Just picked my car up, all done free of charge and I've been out of warranty for several months now.

What did you inform the dealer was your issue to have this covered?
This just happened to me after I topped off my tank so I’m assuming purge valve?
