There’s a really cool sim rig lounge near my place called GT Racing Lounge. Great place to get my hours in on Assetto Corsa Competitzione while I save up for my own rig.

Here’s my setup, or at least it will be, once I get off my butt and start working on assembling everything.

And the finished product…

Just finished my first rig this week (strictly for PS5 for now, but in the near-ish future I plan on getting a PC, so that I can practice on the tracks that I go to regularly):
- Simlab GT1 Evo Simracing Cockpit
- Fanatec Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm) Wheel Base
- Fanatec CSL Elite Steering Wheel Porsche Vision GT
- Fanatec Clubsport Pedals V3
- Junkyard Volvo S60 seat with working Power Seat controls (had to cut the rails and modify the wiring)

What you are seeing there is iracing. I am not sure which screen you are referring to. If it is the one immediately above the steering wheel, it is a VOCORE screen and runs off Simhib. As for the 4th monitor, that also runs off Simhub.

I think the dash on the 4th screen is called mission.

How did you get the upper screen to run data like that? I installed a secondary screen above (which I mainly use for Reddit to answer SIM questions I have lol), but I haven't been able to figure out how to run data on it.

Are you running iRacing, AC, or something else?
Finally got my triple monitors and everything buttoned up so my rig is complete.

Definitely was a endeavor but so worth it

just built a budget friendly PS5/Logitec G29 set up with a Playseat Evo cockpit witha 48" OLED TV...

it is a BLAST!!! GT7 is amazing....it is a great way to get track time without spening money on travel, brakes, tires, etc...

just got a VR2(virtual reality headset) today and tried it with the GT7.

It is insane, but it is just too much....get a bit nauseous

some of these set ups are amazing on here...

It takes a bit to get your "VR legs" so to speak. Don't give up altogether just yet.

Pointing a fan directly in front of you helps.
When you start to feel sick, stop playing VR. Don't push through it, just stop. Gradually you'll notice that you'll be able to go for longer stints and not feel nauseous. Eventually it just goes away, don't give up!
Jesus, you guys put together some jaw dropping rigs.

For starters, those low budget rigs are also very interesting. *takes notes*

Sweet setup, does it have motion?

I’m running a trak racer rig with simagic evo sport with neo x wheel, inverted p1000 pedals, and a BDH shifter. Single 50” plasma screen.

Future upgrades is triple monitor, and a round wheel, mainly for rally.

AC evo has been the main game lately.

Yes, I have the Vero Motion 4” 3DOF. I works really well. I even feel the rear tires slipping. I did turn it up to 100% at first but felt it was a bit exaggerated, and now have it at 75%. Along with the feedback in the steering wheel, I’d say it’s very close to accurate.

Really nice setup man, I have the same water softener setup in my house. Awesome rig too!

I have high iron so filter that out among other things and also soften the water. I am loving my simulator. I am primarily using Iracing and been getting out of rookie league. The realism is pretty awesome and has already positively impacted my real life spirited driving.

I’ve been in the house two years and have slowly been making it mine. The garage is starting to get close to the top of the list so hopefully I’ll have some better photos within a year.
Anyone in SoCal selling a decent setup? PM me.

Dude, I just picked up a PSVR2 like a month ago. The immersion is unreal. I keep finding myself wanting to touch the insides of the cars (I’m not smart)

Yeah, It’s a bit crooked, I know. I use magnets to keep them in place and they’re always moving around.

I assume that’s what you wanted to talk about, right? 😂😂😂

Right there with you. I've got a handful of real life laps done on the 'Ring over the last 16 years. I know how it's supposed to feel when driving.

When I play GT7 with the VR I find myself anticipating how I would drive in real life and that movement isn't there. It really messes with my head.

No more VR for me.
How I started and where I am today. Building is as fun as driving
