With that said, these reports need to be taken with a big grain of salt.
1 - The lack of bearing materials in a report is only a single sample of time. Unless there were reports from the first oil change, theres no indication that the bearings didn't undergo some significant wear event at a previous time, and those particles were washed away with previous oil changes.
2 - You would want to do a sample after a longer period of oil usage. I have a test kit sitting because I've hardly put any miles on the car.
3 - Prior records are important. My Previous owner only had limited oil changes done at the dealer which gives me the sense that either I have to trust he did them independantly more frequently, or drove the car quite a bit between changes. Since I don't want to leave that up to fate I have new bearings sitting on the shelf.
Oil sampling is next to worthless anyway. There have been a number of engines with ok reports that have shown very high wear when the bearings were replaced.
Tin/aluminum most likely. 08-09 was the copper.

My 2011 had lead/copper bearings. Some time in 2010 production they introduced the tin/aluminum.
