Feel sorry for the M3 frame guy. Maybe after the divorce and child support, that's all he has left to show.
In an effort not to start an entirely new thread, can anyone explain to me wtf the point is of putting a tinted plastic license plate cover over your license plate is? My 11 yr old asked me today while we were driving to the beach and for the life of me I could not give him a good answer
. They look like putting plastic over a couch.

floridaorange wroteNot sure about the tint, but I thought the plastic cover was to protect your car tags from thieves, which apparently was a thing. In an effort not to start an entirely new thread, can anyone explain to me wtf the point is of putting a tinted plastic license plate cover over your license plate is? floridaorange wroteMakes it harder for people to read it when the driver does something naughty, plus it also makes toll booth and police license plate readers not read as accurately. Even clear plate covers are 100% illegal in many states for these very reasons. In an effort not to start an entirely new thread, can anyone explain to me wtf the point is of putting a tinted plastic license plate cover over your license plate is?
I'm sure that one of our resident LEOs will chime in about those plate covers also being probable cause for a traffic stop.....
Mingwan wroteLMAOI saw one that said “TEXAN4L”
It took me a moment to realize it’s supposed to be “Texan for life.” Initially, I thought it read as “Tex Anal,” and was a reference to how everything is bigger in Texas, including anal. Like we do anal big time.

I saw a Tesla with LOL GAS or something like that.

dscabra wroteA good friend of my dad's had a for-real 427 Cobra back in the early '70's. The license plate: "50000"
I assumed that is what he paid for it. He was the same fellow that owned a for-real P-51D Mustang airplane.
^^^^^ As someone on massive quantities of diuretics (vitamin pee), I can assure you that this plate is fact and not funny!!!!!
.
Seems appropriate
Made me laugh
