E92 M3 idle control valve error

Hey Guys,

Have an 08 E92 M3 sc ESS kit. The car has gone in limp mode. Recently changed the battery and did registration with Carly.

Codes are in the images. Any suggestions???

Codes were read from Carly App and ESS E Flash software.

Note*** IBS issue is gone.


Update: I cleared adaptations for sc and the issue is intermittent now. Car will run normal and go into limp mode after 5 min or so at idle.

Carly doesn't register batteries properly.

The battery registration is okay. The IBS fault was stored from battery change I believe. It has since gone after clearing codes. Just the idle control issues are there now.

For anyone having an issue like this in the future.

Solved: It was the idle contol valve

We did re-register the batt with ista too. Not sure if there is a glitch with carly. That is an interesting thread though for sure.

Carly will not properly register batteries. Not sure why they can't fix that.
