iRacing beginners group?

Just fired up the sim rig with a fresh iRacing subscription. Bought the M4 gt3 and some tracks.

Read a few getting started tips and been doing some Ai racing. If anyone else has a beginners league or tips would love to get some racing going.

Can create a discord server or join one if anyone uses it already.

Haha yea same here on memorizing the tracks. i purchased tracks i know from Pcars and AC but doing consistent laps is so difficult. The penalty system is brutal but lifelike so have to get the flow of it.

Definitely different experience from having friends on comms to talk shit to

The M4 GT3 is one of the best GT3, I'm driving it for this season

If you're a novice you'll start out racing the MX5 series. VRS publishes free track guides, tutorials, data each week for that series

i seem to find the MR cars more stable (Ferrari), also RR (Porsche GT3), but i'm no speed demon.

the Merc is a handful!

tho' not in iRacing I didn't buy anything, i drive on AC ACC and rF2

After reading all the comments, I went straight and purchased the game right away, My logitech g290 is also coming next week.

We should start a f8x group on iRacing.

New to simracing myself, started with ACC but with iRacing running 50% off new memberships considering signing up. Lots of US based tracks available. I'd be interested if we setup a group!

Theruleslawyer has a discord server up and I just recently setup a league for bimmerpost on iRacing.

Everyone of all skill levels is welcome to join, just send me a private message with your customer id / name so that I can add you to the list.

We will hopefully have a racing schedule figured out next week.
