The Suns just got real.....and the Nets piling up draft choices into the next decade. :D
Just wondering if these guys can stay healthy....CP3 is what, 36? and Durant 34? Last couple years KJ looked worn out by playoff time.
CP3 has been washed since the Bucks series. It's no surprise they were originally offering to trade him to Brooklyn....

Quite honestly, that entire team has been meh the last year and a half. I don't really think KD does a ton for them.

Big thing with the Suns is they now have no bench. Don't see them as a Finals team.

This.

not having a deep bench isnt as big of an issue if their 4 main guys stay healthy.

most teams, like the Mavs for example, need a good bench for when their stars need a rest. Majority of the game, Kyrie and Luka will be on the floor. But when they need a rest, you'll have 1 or none of them out there, and need bench players to be able to step up during the break. That was one of the issues with the Mavs last year. Luka was playing a ton of minutes in the playoffs, but when he was off the court, you didnt have a guy you could run the offense through. They were +2.4 with Luka and -2.6 without in the playoffs.

with the Suns, They have their 4 main guys, KD Booker Paul and Ayton. So if say you want to give those guys some rest, you can still work your lineups to have at least 2 of them on the floor at any given time.
What are we over/under on the Luka trade request?
2 yrs I'd give it

He will NOT be going anywhere. I know one of the local sports beat writers who's pretty plugged in. Sure Luka is frustrated. Sure he ways to win.
Cuban literally LOVES this kid and values him as the "next Dirk".
They WILL make another huge splash this off season...
I also predict, they will make the Western Finals again at the very least next season...

So you're over the 2 yrs
What can they do? Get rid of flat earth Kyrie?
They're in desperate need of defense

I'd say when they're in the play-ins seeded 7-9th next year he'll want out
What other star would want to play with him? I know NBA players are divas but he’s the biggest one of them all, even more than Durant. Also, good job on the Mavs tanking the final week so they can keep their 1st rd pick and not give it to the Knicks on that failed KP trade.

Come on my guy.... The NBA is nothing but Divas!

KD, James, Harden, LUKA... The biggest stars are just that.
The thing is... Good players without Rings, want to join or create Super teams.
It's a lame trend but it is what it is.

Do you want Kyrie back? Mavs are desperate to do anything now but that individual is a cancer:

Didn’t want to play with Lebron anymore
Didn’t want to play with young Tatum/Brown
Didn’t get a contract extension in BK, wanted out

Mavs better hope their lottery pic is an instant superstar but we all basically know that Kyrie is going to the Lakers. What would you do if you were in control of decision ls for the Mavs? Maybe They can try and get Rudy Gobert as he would solidify their defense?

Would love to have Gobert on the Mavs roster. Mavericks season was an absolute disaster after the trade, and I’m a firm believer that Kyrie jumps ship and goes to play with LeBron. Mavs should have just stayed with their original roster. Pretty sure they would have made the playoffs.
Kyrie will NOT leave next season.
Mavs will sign a major piece and star for next year.
The pick is for trade leverage.

LMFAO, you are as close to the draft lottery as to a championship. Be serious.
73 Points, 10 Rebounds, and 7 Assists.

AFOKINGMAZING!!!!

He is other worldly!
LUKA became the first Player in NBA History to achieve a 30+pt Triple-Double in 6 consecutive games. Dude is literally a Machine!!!
I just hope Coach J KIDD can get the rotation and lineups correct!
The v2 new additions have been outstanding.
The coaching has not.
So happy we got Kyrie to help Luka!

I'm very encouraged by this first Playoff win.

The acquisition of GAFFORD and WASHINGTON are game changing!

Easy to average all these wild stats when you yourself play zero defense, the opponent plays zero defense against you and the league is watered down to YMCA level 3 point shooting contest
Dribble dribble dribble
Dribble dribble dribble
Shot a 3
That describes 50% of the plays ran by the current NBA
Way late to the party here but 1 correction to your statement:

cary cary cary cary cary
step step step step step (4 steps is NOT a gather step)
Shoot a 3 or drive.

The modern NBA allows 3-4 steps depending on the player.

And now you see it in college, HS, and AAU. It is an epidemic.

Yeah, it’s seems the 3-ball is the new way to go. So many time times players are open in the paint for an easy 2, but the players still take the 3.
Just goes to show how the game has changed. :confused2
Yep. Based on NBA averages, the 3 is the statistical winner.
Pls stop hating on my Knicks, they finally have a good squad and a bright future. I love Lucas talent but the guy plays no defense in the regular season and always seems out of shape. He does have amazing offensive skills. Kyrie won’t be on his best behavior forever, the guy is a true narcissist and bigot.

***Hater Alert***

You need to recheck the stats. Luka's Defense is way above average these days!
Kyrie has been an absolute incredible acquisition on and off the court!
And he truly wants to be here and will remain.

I don’t hate Luca love his offense but his defense in regular season is embarrassing. He’s been great in the playoffs both ends. Good luck w Kyrie, he’s going to implode at some point.
