Saw a bunch of these in Puerto Princesa, Phillipines the other day.

Having lived in the Philippines three times, I've got a lot of miles in the passenger cab of a trike.

Maybach Mars MA-20. 956CCs Flat twin. Like a BMW Boxer but turned sideways.

This is the same Curtiss as the airplane manufacturer. The U.S. Navy's first airplane in 1911 was a Curtiss. Two replicas were built and one was flown in 1961 in commemoration of fifty years of naval aviation, and then flown again in 2011. I suspect the pilot was very brave to venture off the water in such a crude machine.

Cast your mind back to the very first Mad Max flick, and MFP officer Jim ‘Goose’ Rains’ 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 highway patrol bike.

Goose’s bike was originally custom-built by La Parisienne in Melbourne specifically for the movie, with inspiration taken from the Bol D’Or-style endurance racers of the time.

This faithful replica is the work of Tiago Gonçalves and Luis Costa at Unik Edition in Lisbon, Portugal.

That's an awful lot of tire for what must be a reasonably lightweight vehicle (<1,000 pounds?); I'd be nervous driving in the rain with the prospect of hydroplaning.

Michelle, age 55, decided she wanted to ride up front, so she got her motorcycle endorsement and bought this -- a 2003 Honda VTX1800 with trike kit. (Just a photo -- she explains that she always rides with helmet and gear.) I say, congratulations to Michelle and you go girl!

That's such a great bike to ride in southern France, love riding the Sea Alps and stopping in Cannes and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. It's just so pretty there.
