Not sure what you mean by that. Love has been the best QB in the game the second half of the year and it's not particularly close, either. The reason he looked good is not because of your defense....it would have been even worse had our 2 top WR's been playing. Enjoy your offseason.....again. :D

Jordan Love in the second part of the season....with all 1st and 2nd year WR's and our best WR missing the last 3 games.
– Passing TDs (18) – #1 in league
– Total TDs (20) – T-#1 in league
– Passing yards (2,238) – #1 in league
– Completions (183) – #3 in league

Our defense is suspect but they normally play better in the playoffs. I doubt anyone wants to be play these guys in the playoffs. We obviously need to first take care of business Sunday....
Im not really sure how they are saying he is #1 in tds, total tds, passing yards and completions in the second half. Looks like the TDs add up for games since and including 11/12 vs pittsburgh, but in that same time period, Dak has 1 more passing TD, more passing yards and more completions. Purdy also has more yards and tds. Yardage is also off, he has 2123yds in those games, and his completions is 190 in those games.

Where I was coming from was a place of being really frustrated with the Vikings defense. I hadn't noticed how well Love was playing as a QB. It goes back to the Vikes- Bengals game in week 15 when they put a stat on the broadcast saying something like "the Vikings defense hasn't allowed a TD in 166 playing minutes". Then the Bengals went off and scored TD's on consecutive drives and the Vikes D hasn't been able to stop anyone since. At one point in the season the Vikes D was considered a top tier defense which we haven't had for a while. Then it all fell apart......
Makes sense!

I’d have to look but this was posted in several places the last few days….i assume it’s since the Pittsburgh game too.
Dalvin Cook to the Ravens...we will see how that plays out.

I think i figured out what the tweet meant. It is only in 2nd half of games, not the 2nd half of games. Which makes sense because the Passing Leaders in the NFL this season, Dak and Purdy, have been blowing teams out and rested a lot in the 4th quarter. Dak and Purdy for example have missed about 1 game worth of snaps by sitting early in blowouts, where Love has missed 13 snaps this season.

Still good stats, but its a little misleading, because, like i said, Dak and Purdy have both been better the 2nd half of the season.

I still think Dalvin has a lot left in the tank but just never had enough chances with the Jets and their crap offense this year.
I have a feeling the Ravens coaching staff will put Cook in the best possible spot to put up crazy numbers! Ravens are a totally different team compared to the Jets. Will prolly see an angry Cook running and putting up his old Viking numbers.

All I know is that I was about 20 feet away from Dalvin Cook at the Vikes training camp in August 2022 watching the running backs do drills. He is simply built different and can move unlike most RB's out there. Assuming he is rested up and still has the twitchiness I witnessed 1.5 years ago he will do just fine. Aside from the Cousins injury this year, I think not having Dalvin in our backfield really impacted the team's performance this year.
Never really understood why Minn let him go. Didn't seem to be about money, he seems a good teammate, did they just feel they had other cheaper options? Why not sign and trade?

I think the main factor was the money with the Vikes not wanting to pay 9 to 10 mill a year for a running back. I have also heard Kevin Oconnell talk in interviews saying stuff like "if the passing game is working well then there is less of a need for a running game". That kinda works when Cousins, Hockenson, Jefferson, etc are all healthy but that isn't sustainable. Having Dalvin this year and an overall better running game would have helped out the backup QB's when Kirk got hurt. Not to mention an effective running game opens up the passing game. So many needs coming in the offseason.
Congrats to GB for being the youngest team to get in the playoffs. Defeating the "hottest team in the league" really rather easily. Jordan Love is the real deal, and Packers offense looking pretty good. Defense.....not so much. Bears offense just not that good.
Rams beating Niners, watch out for them! I know just with reserves but....
What the hell is going on in Philly? Other than a new coach after next week. They just collapsed.
AFC just seems the Ravens to take rather easily. We will see.
Good Night... Sleep Tight!

LOL Jerry Jones already saying that McCarthy's status is "game to game", meaning he's gonzo if the boys bow out early in the playoffs. Which history tells us is probably gonna happen.

eh...

its the typical Jerry talk where he will never fully say hes committed to someone. Heres the whole quote when asked if Mike has to do well in playoffs to not get fired.

"I just think his record speaks for itself. I think of what he's done and that we've put ourselves in this position over these last three years, I think that does speak for itself. We've got a lot of football left and no small part thanks to Mike. ... We'll see how each game goes."
Not much, but I did win $300 on a straight up bet from a buddy of mine. I bet a couple of weeks ago that the Eagles would crash and burn, losing to both Seattle and the Giants.

Enough to buy me 2 bottles of my favorite liquor. Salud! :D

Exactly. LOL! Nothing new.

Not to mention, anyone with common sense knows this is simply a motivational comment to light a fire under him going into the Playoffs.

Now we'll see if it works...

JMcLellan's user avatarJMcLellan what happened on that 4th down that got measured in the 2nd???? Sure, I'd almost finished a Jack/diet with my Denver omelette, but that ball was a full chain link (at least) short.

Well, back to watching just my numbers in the squares. It would be a nice bonus to take 2750/quarter from the SB with me to Vegas that Tuesday. . .

It did look short. Maybe the camera angle make it look that way? It didn't matter to me. I needed the Lions to win by 4 or more to win a bet with my brother in law. On to next season.
Bill B out in New England.
I hope the Patriots go on a historic losing seasons - and Kraft sells the team.

Guy is somehow listed as the greatest coach of all time. He sucked in Cleveland, he sucked without Brady, and at times had to resort to cheating to win games.

May just be me being a salty Stiller fan who kept getting beat by Brady...but this is how I see it. Guy knows he's nothing without TB and wants out before absolutely everyone knows this. :confused2
Of the 4 'well known' options of Carroll, Belichick, Vrabel and Harbaugh, who would you most want for your team?
