This game turned around in a big hurry.
Trying to count the # of bonehead plays in a row...wow, starting with that idiot DB whiffing the INT and it smacking him on the head.
I guess the 9ers finally woke up in the second half and choose play.

My son said last week that Chiefs would win. I said no way.

WTF happened Baltimore??? #1 Team in ALL of Football. Wow.
Mahomes happened lol. Hard to count that freaking team out, no matter what.

Poor Lions. Halftime was not good for them.
:D
...and the Lions still have zero Superbowls.

We may have another Dak on our hands.

Lamar 2-4 in the playoffs.
Seriously, did someone pay the Lions off during halftime? There is no way that pros at that level, who should be in the Superbowl, all of a sudden can't catch a pass. So sad. The Lions truly are cursed :(
My condolences to the Lions fans.....
No one should feel sorry for Detroit. They had a great season. You have to stumble like this to make it the entire way to a Championship victory. It happens in all professional sports. The arrow is pointing up for them. If they're worth anything, they'll be back.

And look, this comeback and comebacks in general aren't all that improbable. You come in with a gameplan and in most instances you have to adjust. The teams who adjust and execute often win out.
I thought the championship games yesterday were really fun to watch and there was some really good football played. One thing that stuck out to me was how rookies in both games had some rough moments at horrible times. First game Zay Flowers gets that taunting call after the big catch, then he fumbles into the endzone for a touchback (it was a really good play by the defense), and then Flowers freaks out on the sideline. Then the 2nd game Gibbs fumbles after taking the handoff on the wrong side of Goff. These mistakes had a price in those big games yesterday.

I don't get why Lamar Jackson stayed in the pocket so much. I felt like he was holding back from playing his game and would have liked to see him just simply take control and run the ball. I know the Chiefs had a spy on him most of the game but he is Lamar and he can run around the field. Felt like he crumbled under the pressure a bit.
Ravens play calling is what baffled me. The #1 rushing team that doesn't run the ball? Especially in second half the Chiefs were just teeing off on pass rush. No screens, draws, running plays at all? Don't get it.

Agreed. The Ravens offense was weird. Their defense did their part and didn't allow any points in the 2nd half.
It was 24-7 in the 3rd when I left the pizza joint with my dinner. Get home, and it's tied??? Was rooting for the underdogs, had pretty much decided the two #3 seeds were going to play in Vegas.
None of my squares came up ;(
Shit like this is why I hate being a Lions fan. Everything that could've gone wrong went wrong. Dumb coaching decisions, dumb players dropping catches, missing tackles, etc.

Glad I saved the $1500 I would've spent on tickets/flight/rental car to go to the game.

That's how I felt last year when the Bengals lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Champ game. Plus it was about zero degrees there too...I told the wife..no thanks and watched / cussed at the tv in my own home. lol
Ya, so many mistakes, what was that w the helmet bounce off turned into an INT? Talk about cue the Benny Hill music. Insane misfortune for Detroit. Guess Eminem shouldn't have flipped off some 9er fans, bad karma.

Campbell had a chance to kick two field goals.

It is one thing to be overly aggressive in regular season, where you can afford to lose games by gambling. But when you are in playoffs, lose and you are out...you have to take the points.
its who he is.

when it works, everyone calls him a genius. but when it doesnt work, doesnt seem anyone really cares and blames something else. Cowboys game, this game i see lions fans blaming refs, etc.

If Reynolds even catches one of the balls he dropped we'd be having a diff conversation.

The whole team folded, every mistake that could be made was made. This franchise is still cursed
I will simply leave this here. I agree 1,000%.
And NOT because my Cowboys aren't here, because these two teams seem to be systematically installed. But hey, who knows....
