This kid has talent and prototypical NFL QB stature! He can be coached up and definitely is a steal!!!!

But most importantly... Puts pressure on DAK PRESCOT!!!

I think it’s a good move for dem Boyz. The pressure is on Dak and McCarthy to deliver the goods or hit the bricks.

I know it's Preseason. But did you guys watch Dak who is calling all Offensive plays, drive the ball all the way from the 25 for the TD on the first possession.

Will Grier is having a pretty good pre-season as well. Threw for 305 tonight with 2 TD.

Dak isnt going anywhere. He cant be cut in the next couple years without a significant cap penalty, and he's a top 10 qb. This is more of a move to secure a good backup to Dak that has a similar playstyle. Cooper Rush is on a 2 year deal, can be cut next season with minimal impact, so its more of a planning for the future thing. Will Grier outside of this last preseason game hasn't shown much previously, and is 28. Lance was brought in to take his spot this year, and maybe Rush's next year.

Hopefully Dak and McCarthy worked on this gameplan together and we are going to see more of this once the season started. Dak called a great game, and it bode's well for uptempo drives where Dak is calling plays at the line.

Steal certainly is the word. Trey Lance and 49ers rank among worst draft trades in NFL history. The 49ers traded Trey Lance to the Cowboys for a 2024 fourth-round pick just two years after San Francisco traded three first-round picks to move up from the 12th overall pick to the third selection for him in 2021

Easy to say this after the fact. However, if it doesn't go this way originally.....maybe they never discover Purdy.

I mean, bottom line, they aren't hurting at all at QB....

Sorry my guy.... Between Jimmy G and this Trey Lance fiasco, SF is very inept at the QB position.
Purdy was a VERY lucky thing. Dude will NOT carry them again.
Even my diehard Niners fans are pissed.

That’s more inept in the front office (which I don’t disagree with)….doesn’t really relate to their QBs.

I am disappointed in tonight's first Game between Chiefs and Detroit. I mean, I truly hope Lions can at least make things competerive. I hope they prove me wrong...

Toney has butterfingers all second half. One of the drops cost them 7 points.

played Lions on the money line. Was sweating it on the last chiefs drive.

When was the last time the Cowboy's were in an NFC Championship game? The 49er's may have made a colossal mistake giving away the draft picks for Trey but they found a gem in Brock and he may likely be there for years to come. Dallas' problem isn't Dan, it's the Owner/GM.

I didn't watch the game (past my bedtime), and was shocked to see the score this morning. The first thought that I had was wondering if the Chiefs started Jake from State Farm as QB in place of Mahomes or something?????

As a Man who admits when I'm wrong or apologizes when I've done wrong, and or if I had the wrong perception of an individual by unfair preconceived notions, I will admit it.
That being said. After watching Hard Knocks, my perception of Aaron Rogers has changed.
Sure, I'm still irritated by how he has owned my Team over the years. But the perception I had of him being a egotistical, dick with soundbites, etc, certainly has changed. From what I understand about Hard Knocks, they try not to be scripted and let the players and staff be genuine.
Rogers reminds me a lot of one of my good friends with his demeanor. Overall a cool dude with a high skill set and more in the tank. Respect.

All of that being said... GO COWBOYS!!!
