Yes, it shows $44k, but that includes the 10% buyer's premium. So, it was won for a bid of $40k.

BMW's are a bit hit and miss at Mecum's. I have seen some good deals go by, and then last weekend I saw an '08 328i convertible with 50k miles and AT go for $26k. That's crazy money for that car, probably $10k too high.

Anyway, anything less than $35k for the nice one you're looking at (not the one that needs a pile of work) is a good deal.
