Congrats to the Florida Panthers for winning their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. 30 years, 3 appearances, finally cashing in.

Oilers gave it a good run but they were very tired the last few minutes of the 3rd trying to press for the tying goal.

Overall a very exciting Cup final series.

Panther fans have had to watch the Lightning win so now its their turn. Florida is a real hockey state for sure.

Now we have the draft and a bunch of trades coming.

While no one disputes McDavid is a force, he got shut down and only had 3-4 points in the final? Not worthy this year, IMHO.

Agree. If not for Bob, Panthers would not have gotten past Boston.

He had a few rough games but still was the best candidate for the CS.

I really didn't have any skin in the Final but would've been nice for 'Canada' to bring the Cup back. Maybe it's meant to be so if/when the Leafs win, it will be more significant. (Let a guy dream.)

Congrats to the Cats, based on G7, they deserved to win, the Oilers were flatfooted starting the game...no idea how that happens at this level.

I was shocked that Dreseital was non existent entire series and McDavid last night was quiet. The putty cats deserved this saw what they did to my rangers. Usually after a series I am hating the other team but not them. They played hard and relatively clean have to respect that.

Now we’ll learn the extent of the injuries:

For starters, supposedly McDavid may need abdominal surgery to fix something and Draisaitl has a broken rib and finger.

My team did next to nothing running it back with same cast unless drury shakes it up. Nothing South almost always beats east west in the playoffs. When the oilers had Gretzky and Messier they could do both.
