Hey all, I am working with a close friend of mine to secure a line on slicktop headliners from europe, he also runs an upholstery shop so he can recover them in an oem like fabric or alcantara if desired. I am going to have him do a slicktop headliner recovered with alcantara a/b/c pillars for me. This is obviously the biggest headache for us out there considering a carbon roof install on and E90 M3.

If anyone is interested in pricing what we are looking at is about $800 for a used slicktop headliner, $1000 for a basic recovered one, $1300 for alcantara recovered, and $1750 for a full set of recovered alcantara A/B/C pillars and headliner. I think that this is pretty fair considering the cheapest shipped I can find in the US is $1330 new and I read som forum posts about people paying $2000 to have their existing parts recovered. Obviously some bespoke options such as stitching and other personalizations can be included.

Let me know what you guys think!
This is definitely something I’d eventually be interested in. Slicktop conversion is in my future for sure.
Also interested in this conversion myself, and like you said, the headliner is quite a headache.

Interested as well. Next step for my E90 is a carbon roof as well (after a power upgrade lol). Thanks for this
