The Omega Seamaster Chrono-Quartz, also known as the Montreal or Albatross, was the world's first analog/digital chronograph. The design was inspired by the timing and scoring equipment used at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, where Omega served as the official timekeeper.
It features an analog display for the timekeeping functions and a digital display for the chronograph functions, with each system operating independently. The caseback is engraved with both the Seamaster emblem and the Olympic rings.
