Ruby Black E93 M3 Production Number Help

Hello Gents,

Hope all you doing well.

I own a 2012 BMW E93 M3 with a Ruby Black (X03) paint job. As far as I am aware, this is one of the rarest colors produced. Considering the overall rarity of this color across all E92/E93 M3 models, it's likely that the number of Ruby Black E93 M3s produced in North America is extremely low, possibly limited to just a few units.

Has anyone idea how many they produced ?

A worldwide total of 202 E93 M3s were produced in Individual Ruby Black, though that number included only 20 for North America.



Of the 20 North American examples, 13 were for the USA, 7 for Canada.



As both yours and Brandoch's appear to be Canadian examples, I've taken a guess at your VIN numbers:-

Brandoch VIN ending 2403 was No.4 of the 7 Canadian examples produced.

RitzVan VIN ending 5180 was No.5 of the 7 Canadian examples produced.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this color in person. Very cool color! It almost looks like a root beer in certain lighting.

It's very cool to see in the sun. I HATE black cars, a lot of my cars have been black due to availability. This car was the same but the price was right.
When I went to go look at the car for the first time, that's when I noticed the red metallic flakes in the paint. I fell in love with it on first sight.
