Hoping someone can help out here. I can only access Bimmerpost through cellular at home. I can’t access it on any computer or phone at my house with WiFi. It just started happening about a week ago and I haven’t changed anything as far as routers, internet providers etc.

Thanks!
It looks like your home IP address is compromised - somebody has used it to abuse Bimmerpost and (may I say) Appy (apptest's user avatarapptest) is axing wide :). If the issue is impermanent you can try to fix it by resetting your Internet connection (restarting your gateway router and thereby obtaining another, hopefully clear IP address from your ISP). Or you can use a VPN. I could suggest a free one but it can be inconsiderate to do it here. :search Also, a Canadian VPN ;) might work not either - choose another one then.

Did you get blocked? If so please pm me and we'll get you sorted out
I experienced this same problem beginning about a week ago. I access the internet via Starlink that has been nearly flawless for the 2 years I've had it (my former ADSL connection used Western Union for an ISP, I'm sure). All my mobile Android devices and PC devices could not access Bimmerpost, except when my phone connected via cellular. Yesterday, I confirmed my Android tablet could connect to Bimmerpost through a public wifi network, but still not through Starlink. After a bit of research, it seems that Starlink passes all its traffic through services provided by Cloudflare which provides content filtering and site security. One proposed circumvention I found was to try connecting via Starlink and through a VPN. So earlier today I set up a VPN account with Surfshark, and began changing U.S. locations and DNS's. VPN through Salt Lake City (my current assigned Starlink location) still would not access Bimmerpost, and neither does VPN through Denver (next geographic closest). But connecting through Chicago works. I have no idea what's going on -- seems really odd that Cloudflare would be blocking Bimmerpost due to content or site security, but who knows? If any Bimmerpost administrators read this, please investigate. There are possibly many users who have no way of reporting that their access is being blocked. I'll update this thread if anything changes with respect to Starlink or Surfshark VPN locations.
Thanks to apptest who got me going again. It was an issue with Bimmerpost blocking my internet provider for some reason.

Any excuse why your ISP was blocking Bimmerpost? Starlink might be doing the same.

All he told me was our provider was being blacklisted for some reason and he unblocked it. Said it could happen again.

Exactly! I've been trying to convey in this subforum for quite a while :) that the idea of IP blocking is dumb, subnets blocking is explicitly so and had a valuable chance ;) to deliver it straight to apptest's user avatarapptest the other day.

"You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity." They aren't just sucking money for "content or site security", feeding VPN providers ;), they are causing harm. :mad0260: What's going on is apptest's user avatarapptest defends Bimmerpost from spammers/scammers and rude people  just like
. He promised to improve though.
Same issue. Can't access wife home wifi
Well, I'm on the other side of the pond and have similar problem. Can access on mobile / home wifi but could not access with my work laptop at office for the last 2 weeks. And nothing changed.

It suddenly worked again today !
Sounds like more people with issues for sure. Hopefully the mods etc are looking at this thread and can help or see what’s going on.
Ya we are making refinements and improvements by the minute. If others are having any problems please post here

They are. Got me fixed up in a flash. Big thanks to the powers that be
I first used a VPN about 2 years ago, but didn't renew the subscrption because some sites that wanted to track you were set up to block your access through VPNs. Sites that use Google Marketing were all blocked because VPNs limited Google from selling your ID to advertisers who would hammer you with ads. Haven't noticed this yet on my new account. Maybe threats to bust up Google have them taking their own tag line "do no harm" with renewed vigor.
can't access neither from europe why has it become so hectic to get access to bimmerpost , please could you sort it out ; is it some kind of tariffs ;)
please do something
Hope the site wont be sold to Mr T

That's quite a bit too often! And you blocked my foreign VPNs too. I don't have a static IP and sending occasional shared ones is pointless as we've just found out. Well, I can see you never then. "

Both "straight" and a VPN that was blocked (I haven't checked them all) work again! :happyanim: Maybe later. ;)
