Sorry for the misinterpretation. It's just that poor grammar seems to be prevalent on the interwebs. Being a smart-Alec myself. I should've been more aware...
Cut him some slack y'all -- he used to be in the Navy and we all know what means... :D

Know problem. Your good. :happyanim:

Poor grammar is prevalent. I try my best to use proper grammar and punctuation when posting or sending texts and emails. I taught my kids to do the same back when they were teens. They both thank me for it today and they laugh at the lazy and sloppy writing of some of their friends.

I usually don't correct other people's grammar because I, too, slip from time to time. When I do call people out on their grammar is when they have called someone else out and while doing so, made an error of their own. I just have to point out the irony. :)
Was out for dinner tonight at a restaurant, that had a sign in the seating area that said "All alcoholic beverage sales are final." Sadly, I didn't have my camera with me. It just made me wonder what drove the restaurant to spend money having that cast onto a metal sign? Do people frequently guzzle a drink, pee back in the glass, and then demand a refund????? :confused2
Makes sense to me?

Love giving some young cashier exact change and watch them struggle. Sometimes I look at the cashier and preempt the experience and just swipe. :D

Think it is because dine/drink and dash events are becoming more frequent.

The prep orders food/drink then after eating the food, most of it, then tries to avoid having to pay the tab by complaining about the food or the drink.

Or drinks are consumed then an expensive drink/bottle of wine is ordered and rejected by the customer and this is used as a reason to avoid paying.

If the establishment management is not forthcoming with letting the party off the hook for the tab -- which can be hundreds of dollars -- the tactic is to be noisy, obnoxious, so the establishment just sends the party on their way.

But more businesses are calling the police now and if the tab is not paid the people are arrested on a charge of defrauding an inn keeper or theft of services. And a trespass order given to the persons involved.

For some people this behavior is so common... I watched one video of a guy who wasn't paying his not inconsequential food/bar tab (>$100) and he called family and friends to get them to step up with a card number for his tab and all essentially told him to go to Hell. Even his father. The guy ended up getting trespassed, cuffed, and arrested, and taken to jail.
Dine and dash, retail theft, internet fraud, ect. end up costing everyone due to higher prices. I've owned a business in retail and now have a internet business and I always prosecute all cases of fraud. Often the chargeback claim prep time cost is greater than the item and shipping but I fight it. I have never lost a chargeback claim, It's a matter of principle.
Looks like they were right.
