Beautiful car. Thinking of trading in my X5 for one of these. Anyone made the switch?
All that money and the screen is not integrated int he dash. Hard pass, always looks so temu.
The screen integration is not a feature of price, it's basically a design choice. BMW and others have been doing this for years and I'm not a fan as well.

Almost bought a GV70, but I actually prefer the previous interior. I don't care for this refreshed interior.
I won't buy anything from the Hyundai group. They change their designs so often it makes it impossible to feel like part of a heritage brand. They are nice, but just come across as Chinese appliances to me (albeit Korean)...and I was an OG purchaser of the Genesis Coupe back in the day, and really liked that car. Never again.
Generic SUV #467513.
Also, they could've picked up the garbage on the ground in their pictures.

dreamingat30fps wroteI mean, if we're comparing... anything to the cybertruck anything wins. But that's kind of low bar. But sure, compared to the cybertruck this thing is the freakin' Mona Lisa on wheels.Yeah but everyone hates the cybertruck soooo.... generic FTW!

I made a 1k rental car drive in the 2024 version of this just after Christmas- granted it was the 2.0 version but I wasn't overly impressed. The powertrain is actually nice- it moved 5 of us (plus luggage) well, except for when I was asking it for a highway pass. But that's to be expected from the 2.0 with a full load. Otherwise the turbo 4 was very very solid.
I've never liked the exterior of the Genesis cars (save for maybe the little 2 door) but that's subjective. That's been a critique of mine for both Kia/Hyundai for years now as they just design vehicles that look different- no not Cybertruck different, but not far off.
The biggest issue I saw with the Genesis- were subtle things that luxury cars do. Solid car thunks, road noise was bad! To me, it reminded me of my son's Camry. That's not good! Then just other touch points were mostly good.

Latest S-Class appears to be integrating the screen and going away from rectangle sticking out of instrument panel look. Cayenne has excellent integrated screen aesthetics. The GV80 screen doesn't look nice.

NPC car final boss.

Weird looking car from multiple angles. Genesis is in a bit of a design transition phase imo. Most of their designs are a blended mess.
No comment on that interior.
