Am i crazy - stale bread.

ought a sliced brioche loaf, buttered a slice, took it up to my bedroom and doing work, forgot about it, left it on my desk yesterday morning
this evening feeling a bit peckish. pick it up.. hard yuk
thought I try a bite

wow... tastes like that french toast stuff. you know, not the fried stuff. we call them french toasts, like oven crisped, hard as nuts small little toasts

I don't know, but I think that penicillin comes from moldy bread.....

I have a loaf on my counter doing a test. It's been almost a year and it's still not moldy. Finally got stale/stiff maybe a month ago.
Started out as I just wasn't home to eat it and turned into a game of how damn log does this shit last?

Still not moldy. Did you see the documentary Super Size Me? The segment where he puts cooked food into glass jars, and leaves out on a counter. The french fries -- wow.
