PSA check for rust under your sideskirts

Was installing some carbon fibre splitters and noticed rust spots toward the rear wheels at the top of the side skirt area.

Sanded the rust out and applied some touch up paint to it so it doesn't corrode.

I have the rust in the exact same spot and only on the left hand side. What age and milage is your car?

The side skirts accumulate an astonishing amount of dirt and grime over time. Especially in rain country.
