Constantly being asked to login using the app

I recently purchased a new iPhone, and when requested, I successfully logged into Bimmerpost with my username and password. Now, every time I open the app, it is not recognizing the fact that I am logged in and asking me to do it again. I never had this issue when using my old iPhone.

Is there anyone else out there who is using app version 7.0.9 (or above) that this is happening to?

It just happened to me again when I went to reply to your post.

I am using iOS 26.4.2 which is the latest update on my iPhone.

But what app version are you using, that's more important than iOS version

Never mind I can see you are on the latest version, if you have the time/energy can you let me know if you remember what things you did today before you got logged out? For example if you can remember that you checked notifications. closed the app, opened it and you were logged out?

If we can figure out the flow (and I can make it repeatable) I bet I can fix it today...

All I did was close the app by scrolling upward on my iPhone

By the way, I just enabled auto refresh which, for some reason was disabled.

ok can you remeber what those few things you did before you close out the app. and also do I have this right, you did what you did on the app, then you backgrounded the app, maybe did some other things on your phone, then resumed the app and now you are logged off? or do you remeber if it was a fresh app start (the blue bimmerpost startup screen showed up first and then you were on the news page vs. continue from where you were)

I backgrounded the app, checked some emails, looked at Instagram for a minute and then opened the app again.

When I opened the app, it was on the News page, I then went to Forums and my favorite Forums.

I logged in with my username.

I saw it happen it real time . But I can't figure out a way to replicate it yet. once I can replicate it on my side then I can solve it real fast... im wondering if it has anything to do with your flow (did you read a thread first, did you check notifications first, etc...). every detail counts

I went to reply to this post and I noticed I was logged out again. This time I logged in with my email address instead of my username.

Also, I don’t remember what my flow was.

With your username is probably better next time. That last time it just happened I forcibly triggered it to happen to you just to see what it was. I'll probably do it one more time and stop because im sure it's giving you a headache. but it will keep happening naturally too because there is for sure 100% a bug, I just have to figure it out somehow without destroying your life

I just logged again with my username. This is too much work for me on a Sunday! 🤪

Ok I put in a new update into the App Store that might help with this. Im really not sure since you are the only hit by this issue right now (that is posting about it). Im thinking there might be some old bunk login from your old phone that got stuck on the new one and it's just not getting cleared out. im not really sure and its a long shot, but the new version might help with that. in the meantime you could also try totally erasing wiping the app out from your phone and re-installing from the App Store and see if that helps. im hoping the updated app gets released in the next day or two

I just had to login again, I will delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store as corrected. 😂
